Kairox ("Kairox," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use the Kairox mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By using Kairox, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

Account Information

To access certain features, you may create an account using supported sign-in methods such as Apple Sign In, Google Sign In, or phone number authentication.

Depending on the sign-in method used, we may collect your name or display name, email address, phone number, profile photo if provided, authentication identifiers, and account preferences or settings. This information may be stored using trusted cloud infrastructure providers.

Exercise and Progress Data

Kairox lets users earn social media time by completing supported exercises. To provide these features, we may collect the selected exercise type, completed repetition counts, earned social media minutes, exercise history, streaks, achievements, and progress statistics.

This information is used to operate the app, calculate earned minutes, track progress, and personalize your experience.

App Restrictions and Screen Time Data

Kairox uses Apple’s Screen Time and Family Controls frameworks to manage access to applications selected by the user. With your permission, we may access information needed to apply app restrictions, manage earned unlock time, monitor unlock sessions, maintain selected blocked apps, and store app restriction preferences.

Kairox does not access private messages, photos, passwords, emails, browsing history, or content inside other applications.

Camera Access

Kairox uses your device camera during an active exercise session to detect supported movements and count repetitions. Camera access is used to recognize movement, verify completed repetitions, and award earned social media minutes.

Kairox does not use camera access for advertising. You may revoke camera permission at any time through your device settings.

Notifications

With your permission, Kairox may send exercise reminders, earned-minute alerts, unlock expiration alerts, streak updates, achievement notifications, product updates, and subscription-related notifications.

Push notification tokens may be collected only to deliver notifications. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings.

Subscription and Payment Information

Certain Kairox features require an active subscription. Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. Kairox does not collect or store credit card information, billing addresses, or payment credentials.

We may use a service such as RevenueCat to verify purchases, manage subscription status, and support subscription analytics.

Technical and Analytics Information

To improve reliability and performance, we may collect limited technical information such as device type, iOS version, app version, crash logs, diagnostic information, session activity, and notification tokens.

This information is used to maintain app stability, fix bugs, prevent abuse, improve security, and improve the user experience. Kairox does not use third-party advertising SDKs for cross-app tracking.

How We Use Information

We use collected information to create and maintain accounts, provide app functionality, count repetitions, award earned social media minutes, apply app restrictions, sync settings and progress, maintain streaks and achievements, deliver notifications, verify subscriptions, provide support, improve performance, and protect the security of the Service.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, exercise data, or screen time information.

Data Retention and Account Deletion

We retain account and app-related information only for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

If you delete your account, account information, exercise history, earned-minute history, app preferences, streaks, achievements, and progress information may be deleted or anonymized. Certain transaction or subscription records may be retained when legally required.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information, including HTTPS encryption, secure authentication, protected cloud storage, access controls, and encrypted data transmission. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Children’s Privacy

Kairox is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that such information has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When changes are made, the Effective Date at the top of this page will be updated. Continued use of Kairox after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
